Christmas Along the River:
Tuesday Evenings in December @ 7p.m.
Christmas Along the River is an exciting local four-hour Christmas program that involves
local singers and groups of all ages. WJOS organizes four evenings where local groups
sign up to come and sing and then it is all put together to make a wonderful local
Christmas program. Local church’s adult and children’s choirs, as well as grandma
or grandpa singing with their grandchildren come out to make this a great program.
Christmas Along the River is then televised on the air eight times through the month
of December. To help with the airtime businesses sponsor this by placing a fifteen
second commercial during this four-hour program. Usually businesses wish the community
a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year during this fifteen seconds. WJOS produces
these commercials.
